Fish Beach sits about 60 feet up the eastern hill that overlooks Fish Bay. It faces south-southwest with views of Fish Bay, gentle tropical breezes and all day sun. This tranquil location also provides enough privacy for discreet “tan anywhere” sunbathing. Cruz Bay is a 10 – 15 minute drive on paved roads, except for ½ mile of dirt road in Fish Bay. |

DESIGN. Fish Beach is a 2400+ sq/ft, 2+ level villa that incorporates many design features found in top quality villas, such as antique brick patios, travertine flooring, French roof tiles, a coral stone pool deck, a pool and hot tub, central a/c and a gourmet kitchen. |

LIVING/DINING.
The living room overlooks the pool and is furnished with rattan furniture that seats five. It is equipped with a Sony AM/FM with a CD player and an iPod dock. There is also a 20” flat screen TV with DVD and premium HD satellite television that includes HBO and Showtime. There is a gas grill on the deck and you may dine either inside at the table for four or on the covered deck at a teak table for 4 – 6. |

KITCHEN.
The handsome kitchen has travertine floors and countertops and is fully equipped, including a stainless steel 4-burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, cookware and bone china and crystal stemware. A washer/dryer is located off the kitchen. |

BEDROOMS. Both bedrooms have mahogany king beds with 500 thread count linens, mahogany furniture, air conditioning, a flat screen TV/DVD and iPod ready stereos, ceiling fans, and a tiled bath and travertine shower. Both bedrooms also have screened sliding glass doors that open to the deck and to the south facing views, while the corner bedroom overlooks the pool and Fish Bay. |

Fish Beach is very similar in design to its neighbor Elysium (formerly named Coco Beach), which is located just up the hill from Fish Beach. Both villas are a short distance from a path that leads to an “off the beaten path” small National Park beach called Cocolobo. To get to Cocolobo Beach, a trail takes you through the National Park to the southern tip of the peninsula. You then walk east along the shore until you come to a small and secluded sand beach (Cocolobo). There’s no parking for this beach, it’s a 5 – 10 minute hike into it, the trailhead is poorly marked and the beach is hidden from everyone except boaters and hikers. Some of St John’s little known secrets should remain that way – little known, so we’ll only tell you how to find the trailhead if you’re a Fish Beach or Elysium guest. If you are a guest, on a calm morning go to Cocolobo Beach for a breakfast swim and snorkel and you’ll find yourself in turquoise waters, on a small Caribbean beach, alone. The snorkeling can be very good and you may see some bigger fish, but be aware of the current around Cocolobo Cay. As for Fish Beach, this is another fine St John home built for stress free comfort. There’s certainly not a lot of traffic out here, so this hillside home retains a relaxing sense of serenity and peacefulness. With its central a/c, pool, hot tub, coral stone sun deck, and some tan everywhere privacy, this is an excellent choice as a romantic retreat for honeymooners or lovers. This is also a good home for a small family or 2 couples who value that away from it all feeling. |
